DRELA Launches Basic Language Training Program in Buea
DRELA (Disability Rehabilitation and Life Animation) is excited to announce a two-month Basic Language Training Program, running from August 20th to October 20th in Buea, Cameroon. Led by Dr. Charly Nguyap, the organization’s president, and assisted by Mrs. Emelda, this program is designed to offer foundational skills in language communication, with a focus on inclusivity, and will conclude with official certification.
The training will cover key communication techniques, including basic sign language, such as:
Alphabet fingerspelling for spelling names or words.
Common greetings like “hello” and “thank you.”
Essential signs for everyday phrases such as “please,” “sorry,” and “help.”
This initiative not only provides a platform for learning new skills but also promotes inclusion and accessibility for individuals with disabilities in Cameroon.
